Welholme Primary Academy in Grimsby, run by The Enquire Learning Trust, seeks a Principal to lead strategic direction, raise pupil achievement and well-being, and deliver outstanding teaching across the school.

The appointee will build leadership capacity, establish rigorous standards, and drive continuous school development while engaging with the wider community.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach across primary age groups.
• Minimum five years of successful classroom experience.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Proven leadership experience at whole-school level.
• Track record of driving improvement and pupil progress.

Job description

Principal post, which is the headteacher role, at Welholme Primary Academy, run by The Enquire Learning Trust. The post is permanent, starting 12 April 2027, and candidates need QTS and at least five years' classroom experience, with an enhanced DBS check required.
