Job summary

PATH Recruitment is sourcing a Handyman for a leading plant and accommodation hire company near Banbury, Oxfordshire. The role involves maintaining, repairing and preparing welfare accommodation units for hire, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs and heater replacements, and ensure units meet quality and safety standards while working with a supportive maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance, repair or DIY experience.
• Confidence using tools and completing general maintenance tasks.
• Experience with plumbing or heaters is advantageous.
• Proactive problem-solving with high workmanship standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs to welfare accommodation units.
• Completing plumbing repairs and heater replacements.
• Preparing units for hire and ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Working with an experienced supervisor and wider maintenance team.
• Occasional site-based maintenance tasks following procedures and safety.
