Job summary

Driver Hire Bristol is seeking a Delivery Driver/Operator to support the delivery, installation, servicing and collection of welfare units and equipment on construction sites. You will load and unload, inspect units and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining records.

You will hold a C1 licence, work safely to health and safety procedures, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. The role is physically demanding and requires a flexible approach to hours.

Qualifications

• C1 Licence is required.
• Experience in plant hire, welfare hire, or construction is desirable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and customer service.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect welfare units, portable toilets and associated equipment from customer sites.
• Inspect equipment before and after hire, identifying damage or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all welfare units meet health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery, collection and servicing records.
• Liaise with customers and site managers to ensure their requirements are met.
• Keep the hire yard, vehicles and equipment clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
