The RAF Benevolent Fund is the leading welfare charity for the RAF. Every year, we help over 40,000 people through our services. How you can contribute
  • Help reduce social isolation among veterans.
  • Support ill or injured personnel with suitable housing solutions.
  • Fund youth services on stations for children of serving personnel.
  • Provide grants to assist with living costs.

We seek an individual to promote our welfare services and carry out welfare casework. The role involves holistic needs assessments remotely and in person across Yorkshire and Durham, supporting individuals with complex needs by connecting them with appropriate services within the RAF Benevolent Fund and external agencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in social welfare, strong relationship skills, and empathy for the Armed Forces community.

This community-based role is home working, covering Yorkshire and Durham, preferably based in York. A personal vehicle is required for regional travel, and occasional travel to London may be necessary. Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK.
