Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Welfare Cleaner for a construction site in Stevenage. The role is long-term temporary and requires a CSCS card. You will maintain clean site cabins, offices, canteens, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have basic on-site cleaning experience, be able to lift and move equipment, and work flexibly to cover different site hours. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours and access to site before/after opening times.

Responsibilities

Job description

Welfare Cleaner

Required in Stevenage

Long term temporary role

£16.50/hr

Must have an in date CSCS card

Welfare Cleaner required for a construction project.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Site cabins/Offices and reception areas
• Canteen/ kitchen facilities
• Toilets
• Corridors
• Communal areas

Duties to include:

• Emptying the bins, taking out the rubbish and recycling
• Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms/ kitchen area
• Sweeping, moping and vacuuming the floors
• Keeping all communal site toilets and washing facilities clean
• Keeping drying room in general state of cleanness

Previous experience

• The ideal candidate will have experience of working on site in a similar role
• You should have a good understanding of cleaning products and their uses in relevant areas, plus you should have good knowledge and experience of cleaning materials and how to use equipment such as:
• Mops
• Brushes
• Vacuum cleaners
• You should be able to lift and move equipment and be able to work independently empty bins whilst also at times moving and disposing of larger waste items
• A degree of flexibility would be ideal as the role could see you working before the site is open, during site hours or after the site has closed depending on gaining access to certain communal areas

Experience:

• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• CSCS Card
