An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Welfare Benefit & Support Worker to join their team in Swansea. This role involves providing essential information and support regarding welfare benefits and services to carers and their families. Location: Ty Findlay, Prince of Wales Road, Swansea SA12EX
Hours: 35 hours per week. Normal working hours are 9am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Some out-of-hours work may be required, with time off in lieu provided.
Salary: £23,933 per annum
Annual Leave: 26 days plus customary bank holidays. Additional days granted based on years of service.
Travel Expenses: 45p per mile
Reporting To: CEO

The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced C.R.B. disclosure.
The Welfare Benefit & Support Worker will be employed by the Swansea Carers’ Centre Board of Trustees. The line manager for this role is the CEO.
To provide comprehensive information, advice, and support regarding welfare benefits, tax credits, and other welfare services offered by voluntary and statutory organizations to carers and their families across Swansea.
