Job summary

Certain Advantage is hiring a Welder Operative for a site-based role in the St Helens area. The position is temp-to-perm and involves working within a small, experienced team to manufacture products to drawings, perform fabrication and welding, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ/C&G in Fabrication and welding with exposure to sheet metal and be able to read fabrication drawings.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G in Fabrication and welding is required or equivalent.
• Experience reading fabrication drawings and applying them to work.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture products in line with engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Carry out fabrication and welding activities to a high standard.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met before progression.
• Maintain productivity and meet agreed production deadlines.
