Overview

The Welding Department at USU Eastern is seeking a Laboratory Assistant. The successful candidate for this position will become a working member of the welding education certificate and degree programs located at the USU Eastern campus in Price, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities will include fabrication of projects for shop improvements, basic maintenance and repair of program equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lab facility.
• Duties will also include participating in recruiting events hosted and participated in by the welding program.

Qualifications

• Welding major currently enrolled in at least two welding courses at USU Eastern
• One semester of courses completed in the welding program
• Computer literacy
