Job summary

JOBS247 INC LTD seeks a Welding Inspector to supervise Visual Welding Inspectors and coordinate work across projects at Culham, Oxfordshire. You will apply international codes/standards, review NDT where qualified, and ensure QA records and welding procedures are followed to maintain quality and compliance.

The role requires a CSWIP Welding Inspector certification or equivalent, potential travel, and on-site work five days a week with BPSS/DBS screening.

Qualifications

• CSWIP Welding Inspector certification or equivalent is required.
• Strong understanding of welding inspection, procedures, and welder qualification.
• Experience verifying NDT reports and radiographic results where qualified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Visual Welding Inspectors and coordinate or review work.
• Maintain QA standards, procedures, and auditable records for welding activities.
• Ensure welding procedures are applied correctly during production.
• Provide welding inspection guidance to engineers, projects and stakeholders.
• Prepare and control welding inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Sign off on work completed by others to ensure quality and compliance.
