Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Pershore seeks a Welding Inspector to inspect welding and fabrications in a defence-oriented environment. The role covers first-off inspections, verification against design data, and maintaining traceability and quality records.

You will work with ISO 9001 and related standards, supporting audits and continuous improvement. Hours are 39 per week with early finish on Fridays; pay £18–£20 per hour, with overtime at enhanced rates up to £40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in quality control procedures.
• Familiar with welding procedures and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Process Welding Inspection first-off of components to verify against design data and QC requirements.
• Inspect welding and fabrication activities per WPS, standards and customer requirements.
• Verify welder qualifications and approved welding procedures are used.
