Job summary

A leading company seeks experienced Welding Inspectors for inspection activities in the UK. Candidates will perform various inspections including NDT tests and must have a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. This role is flexible for freelancers or inspection agencies, with a contract period from 1st July to 29th September 2025.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in welding inspection.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with painting inspection certificates is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of fabrication items and perform NDT testing.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Liaise with clients and understand international standards.

Job Description:

RINA is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities for our clients in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fabrication inspections of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles, and accessories.
• Perform inspections in accordance with CSWIP 3.1 or AWS certification standards.
• Carry out NDT Level 2 testing in MT, PT, RT, UT.
• Provide inspection services at vendor premises, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (at least 5 years in similar fabrication).
• Experience with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is advantageous.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively in English, understand international standards, and liaise with clients as needed.
• Inspectors can operate as freelancers or through inspection agencies, capable of invoicing for services rendered.

Note: Only UK residents will be considered.

Period: 01 July 2025 - 29 September 2025 (20 visits)
