Job Role: Welding Coordinator

The Welding Coordinator supports the Senior Welding Engineer in tasks related to ISO14731, including:

  • Coordination of WPQRs, involving procurement, machining, technique development, PWHT, and mechanical testing;
  • Assisting in the compilation of pWPSs and welding data packages;
  • Supporting technical reviews and repair investigations;
  • Reviewing and accepting filler metal certificates;
  • Assisting in the review of subcontractor procedures and post-weld heat treatment processes;
  • Ensuring the suitability of welding equipment and preparing weld repair methodologies;
  • Researching and implementing new welding technologies and processes to improve production;
  • Providing technical input to the welding team;
  • Coordinating production test coupons, welder qualification, and site tests;
  • Managing and validating welder qualification certificates;
  • Evaluating materials and solving issues related to design drawings or work pack requirements;
  • Preparing weld cards and performing other duties as assigned by the Senior Welding Engineer.
