Job summary

An esteemed engineering company is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors to conduct fabrication inspections for various projects in the UK. The role requires significant experience in inspection, specific certifications, and the ability to report effectively in English. Successful applicants will engage in ad hoc inspection activities, typically as freelancers or through inspection agencies, for a defined period between 7/1/2025 and 9/29/2025.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in similar fabrication.
• Experience at vendor's premises for inspections.
• Ability to prepare inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of fabrication including vent hatches and accessories.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Freelancer or part of an inspection agency.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
