Welding & Fabrication Lecturer

County Durham

£29,714 to £39,165 p/a (plus 28.68% pension + 48 days holiday)

Full-time, permanent

We are currently working with an education provider in the County Durham area who are looking for a Welding & Fabrication Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The position is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, and would involve the delivery of Welding & Fabrication courses (up to level 3) at their specialist engineering training centre in County Durham.

The starting salary would be between £29,714 and £39,165 per annum, and you would also get a generous teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 40 days (plus Bank Holidays and closure days).

To apply for the role, you MUST have:

• A qualification in Welding/Fabrication
• 3 or more years of post-apprenticeship industry experience
• A desire to pass on your welding knowledge

Please note that you don't need a teaching qualification in order to apply to this role, as the education provider would be able to put you through one if you don't have one already.
