The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset’s integrity lifecycle.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Welding Engineer, to join our mission of delivering certified Asset Management services, consultancy, and integrated projects, across the global low carbon energy and infrastructure markets.

The Welding Engineering function within our Asset Management business sector provides project oversight and technical governance to the company’s welding activities carried out at our customer sites across our global footprint. As a Senior Welding Engineer, you will have full responsibility for the specification, development, oversight, and technical governance of our Weld Procedure Specifications and Weld Procedure Qualification records as required on a project-by-project basis.

Our ideal Senior Welding Engineer will have a demonstrable track record across Nuclear, Process, Renewables, or Fusion markets. The ideal candidate will hold EWE/IWE (or be working towards), hold CEng status, and maintain a CPD record.

Reporting to the Welding Engineering Department Head, you will have strong technical knowledge of joining technologies, including up-to-date knowledge of Codes and Legislation.
