Overview

We're looking for a Welding Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting global customers and playing a key role in building cutting-edge automated welding systems at our plant in Irvine.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance visits to existing and new customers across the globe.
  • Deliver training on semi-automated and fully automatic MIG welding processes.
  • Conduct customer visits to promote and sell our products.
  • Support the design, assembly, and testing of automated welding machines at our manufacturing facility.
  • Assist in managing parts inventory and ensure smooth operations within the workshop.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and hands-on engineer in both customer and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
  • Solid experience in welding processes and welding equipment maintenance.
  • Background in manufacturing, with knowledge of managing parts and inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
  • A strong customer-first mindset with excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Culturally aware and able to adapt to working in different countries and environments.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally at short notice (up to 20 weeks per year).
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering is .
  • Meticulous in your work, and a critical eye for detail and procedure.
