Job Title: MIG Welders
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £14-£19 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Shifts: Day and Night Shifts Available
Contract: Temp to Perm


The Company:
Our client is a well-established fabrication company based in Nottingham, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality steel products for the civil sector. With a strong reputation for reliability and craftsmanship, they are seeking experienced MIG Welders to support their growing workload.


The Role:
As a MIG Welder, you will be working with thick gauge steel components used in civil engineering projects. You'll be expected to deliver clean, multi-run welds in line with detailed engineering drawings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding of thick gauge steel to a high standard
  • Interpreting and working from engineering drawings without supervision
  • Performing multi-run welds as required
  • Supporting other areas of production during peak periods
  • Operating overhead cranes (desirable - training can be provided)


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Apprentice-trained or time-served welder/fabricator
  • Experienced in working with heavy/thick gauge steel
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
  • Willing to work as part of a team and assist where needed
  • Overhead crane experience is a bonus
