Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Rolls-Royce in Derby. This full-time position offers a starting salary of £39,435 per annum, with potential additional earnings through shift premiums, overtime, and other benefits. The role involves welding complex pressure vessels and pipework for submarine manufacturing, adhering to nuclear standards and using various manual and mechanized welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding.

Responsibilities include following technical instructions, ensuring process and quality standards, performing inspections, and working with advanced welding technology. Candidates should have completed a recognized welding apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ3 or equivalent) and possess experience in pressure welding and working with stainless steel and thick gauge materials. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental procedures is essential.
