Job Description: Welder (Nightshift)

We are on a HUGE RECRUITMENT DRIVE for one of our biggest clients based in the heart of Winsford Industrial Estate. We are seeking individuals eager to join an expanding, popular company that invests in its staff.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for welding assemblies to a high standard of quality, reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications, and performing precise measurements and markings. You should be skilled in selecting materials and cutting techniques such as burning, disc cutting, or machine cutting.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Following technical drawings and specifications
  • MIG welding to a high standard
  • Managing your PPE and welding equipment responsibly
  • Working independently or as part of a team to meet production targets
  • Following instructions from team members and senior staff
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the production area
  • Minimizing waste and using resources efficiently
  • Ensuring a safe working environment at all times

The company values flexibility; employees may be asked to perform additional duties, for which training will be provided.

Skills and Experience:

This role suits a hands-on, organized, proactive, and self-motivated individual. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
  • High-quality assembly experience with materials like MIG welded mild steel (3mm–20mm)
  • Skill in using various hand tools
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Capability to maintain production quality and output
Additional Details:

Salary: £36,869.00 per annum (£18.18 per hour)

Working Hours: 7:45 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
