We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, and they have recently won a large amount of work, so they are looking to extend their workforce.

The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high-quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales.

– £200 weekly accommodation allowance (night shift)
– Additional accommodation allowance paid if work overtime.
– Accommodation allowance only available to contractors from outside the area.

Shifts:

* Night Shift – Mon to Thurs 7.10pm-6.40am, off Friday.

Pay Rates:

Umbrella
Nights – £28.35 (Increase at 12 weeks to £29.66)

Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.

The weld test will include 135 Mag Welding Process.

All tests are carried out on 15mm thick plate in S355JR mild steel.

Please note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
