Our client, a prominent organisation within the marine industry,are currently seeking FCAW Welders based in their fabrication shop in the Glasgow area

Welding experience in a heavy industry environment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing FCAW welding tasks to a high standard
  • Working primarily within our clients large fabrication workshop
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry safety regulations and quality standards
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Collaborating with team members to accomplish project goals
  • Maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Potentially transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and availability
Job Requirements:
  • Solid experience in FCAW welding
  • Proficiency in welding within the marine sector or similar heavy industries
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in welding
  • Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Initial contract duration of 5-6 weeks with the potential for permanent transition
  • Standard 40-hour work week with overtime available
