Key Responsibilities
- Performing FCAW welding tasks to a high standard
- Working primarily within our clients large fabrication workshop
- Ensuring all work complies with industry safety regulations and quality standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Collaborating with team members to accomplish project goals
- Maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Potentially transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and availability
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in FCAW welding
- Proficiency in welding within the marine sector or similar heavy industries
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in welding
- Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
Contract Details
- Initial contract duration of 5-6 weeks with the potential for permanent transition
- Standard 40-hour work week with overtime available
- £23/h Umb co Standard / £34.50/h Overtime (can go CIS)
- £17.17/h PAYE Standard plus £2.07/h holiday pay / £25.76/h plus £3.11/h holiday pay
