Job Opportunities with Fulcrum Engineering

We are currently recruiting qualified, skilled, and experienced personnel at all levels in the Watton, Thetford, and Mildenhall areas. We are seeking candidates for the following roles:

1. Welder Fabricator (TIG, MIG): Working on varied light gauge jobs, fabricating sheet metal panels, tubing, frames, supports, etc., from drawings. Welding to high specifications, primarily using TIG, with MIG skills preferred.
2. Steel Fabricator Welder: Working on structural jobs, fabricating frames and supports from drawings, welding to high standards mainly using MIG.
3. Fabricator Welder Supervisor or Charge Hand: Overseeing fabrication of sheet metal, plates, angles, boxes, tubes, and supervising small teams of welders, ensuring work is allocated, completed safely, to QC specifications, on schedule, and materials are ordered appropriately.
4. Fabricators: Measuring, marking out, cutting, and preparing metal components such as boxes, tubes, angles, and frames using machinery like presses, punches, tube benders, gas cutters, saws, grinders, and drills.
5. CNC Press Brake & Punch Setter Operator: Setting and operating CNC press machines to produce parts from sheet metal and metal frames, with skills in programming and machine setup. Ideally experienced with Amada and Trumpf machines. Must be able to check work for QC compliance.

**Key Qualifications and Certifications:**

Candidates should ideally hold C&G or NVQ qualifications in Engineering, Sheet Metal Work, Welding, or Fabrication, with experience using machinery such as Amada and Trumpf.

**Pay Rates:**

• Welders, Fabricators, Sheet Metal Workers: £14.50 to £16.50+ per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.
• Fabricators & CNC Setter Operators: £14.50 to £16.50+ per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.
