Job description

Diamond Search Recruitment are excited to be representing our client, a well-established, successful, and exciting design & manufacturing business. Recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator & Assembly Operative based in Ashford, Kent.

Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum

Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm

Benefits:
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Company Bonus Incentive (after qualifying period) 14-16% of annual earning potential dependant on the profitability of the business, paid quarterly, Company Pension Scheme: Employer 7%, Employee 5% minimum contribution.

Responsibilities:
  1. Using the utmost due care and attention to detail, Weld, Fabricate and Assemble to detailed project/product drawings.
  2. Undertaking the Welding, Fabrication and Assembly process for Steel components and sub-assembly parts used for standard stock requirement using the same ethos.
  3. Ensuring quality, consistency and integrity of the weld and fabrication process through all stages.
  4. Able to self-inspect and complete work to the Quality Standards the Business adheres to.
  5. Being pro-active within your role and highlighting and recording any possible issues, problems, variances during the weld and fabrication process to your line Manager as well as contribute to the company's ideas and suggestions incentive for continuous improvement.
