Job description

Welder Fabricator, £16.60 an hr, days Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30. Private medical contributions for employee & family (50%). Pension scheme. 23 days holiday + public holidays. Holidays increase with 1 day per year served. Overtime regularly available paid at 1.3 Monday to Thursday and 1.5 on a Saturday morning.

A market leading automotive business in Bradford requires a skilled Welder Fabricator to join their team. The role has become available due to an existing employee moving departments for their career development.

The role is varied and includes the fabrication of mounting brackets to HGV chassis and assisting with the installation/fitting of pumping systems to the HGVs (full training given - must be comfortable using hand and power tools).

The ideal candidate should be able to MIG and TIG weld (the company can provide training in TIG welding if desired).

Key Duties of the Welder Fabricator position:

1. MIG/TIG welding, predominantly with Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
2. Fabrication of mounting brackets
3. Install, commission, and test equipment fitted to vehicles on or off-site

Desirable Work Experience:

1. Hydraulic or pneumatic systems
2. Experience within the Automotive sector
