Overview

Our Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for supporting the construction of our sprinkler modular buildsat our Tipton Manufacturing Facility.

Are you looking for your next Welder/Fabricator role? With excellent technical skills, you, as a Welder/Fabricator, will have a pivotal role at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
• Accurately assemble equipment such as steel frames, structured platforms and bracketry.
• Maintain inventory of products in work stations.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation.
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 1-2 years welding experience is required.
• Experience of using bandsaws, punch machines, pillar drills and workshop machinery is advantageous.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Flexible with the ability to produce high quality work to deadlines.
• Basic computer navigation and utilisation skills.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.

This is role and would require the successful Welder/Fabricator to attendMonday-Friday at our Tipton Manufacturing Facility:100-400 Vaughan Trading Estate, Sedgley Road East, Tipton, DY4 7UJ
