Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is seeking a Welder/Fabricator in Thetford, Norfolk, for a full-time role. You will weld and fabricate components for trailer bodies, with a salary of £36,000–£38,000 depending on experience.

You'll work to high standards, prioritise safety, and may be asked to work solo or as part of a team; on-the-job training is provided to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial trailer body building, repairs and general fabrication.
• MIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel.
• TIG welding experience beneficial but not essential.
• Capable of high-standard work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and able to work independently or with others.

Established in 1976, this family run business has over 50 years' experience in the commercial vehicle industry. They specialise in the servicing and repairing of trailers and the production of new curtain sided bodies.

The company prides itself on the high standards of all its services and boasts a fantastic, dedicated team and a large established customer base.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Prefer experience in commercial trailer body building, repairs and general fabrication


• Experience in MIG welding mild steel, stainless steel


• Prefer experience in TIG welding beneficial but not essential


• Must be capable of working to high standards and with minimum supervision


• Must have a flexible approach and be prepared to work as an individual or with others
