Location - Stratford-Upon-Avon

Pay Rate - £17.60 rising to £19.05 after probation for workshop work

£17.76 rising to £20.58 after probation for customer site work

LG Engineering Solutions are recruiting MIG/MAG Welders to join a business that specialises in rolling stock repairs to the rail industry. The business is going through a period of sustained growth and is growing the team in order to accommodate this. This position is suited to people who don't mind working away from Stratford-Upon-Avon when needed.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Carrying out welding repairs using either MIG or MAG on various rolling stock
  2. Mostly working on Mild Steel but some Aluminum
  3. Welding thicknesses of between 2mm-4mm
  4. Bench Welding
  5. Various positional welds including overhead and vertical up
  6. Carrying out duties using engineering drawings
What you will need to succeed
  1. Experience with MIG/MAG or TIG
  2. Previously done positional Welding including overhead and vertical up
  3. The ability to work away from home
  4. Experience reading engineering drawings
