Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to join a leading manufacturing business based in Colchester. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing team responsible for building the main structures of car transporters.

Role Overview:

• MIG welding and fabrication using 5mm+ materials


• Reading and working from CAD/technical drawings


• Working either independently or within a team of two


• Maintaining welding equipment and PPE to a high standard


• Supporting production output in line with set time targets


• Following all health, safety and environmental procedures

Requirements:

• Previous MIG welding/fabrication experience preferred (training can be provided)


• Able to read and interpret CAD/technical drawings


• Reliable and able to work on your own initiative


• Focused on quality, accuracy and safety


• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
