Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Welder/Fabricator to work in Ruthin.

You will be working as a welder/fabricator for a company specialising in bespoke building units.

This role will be varied, non-repetitive work for those who take pride in fabricating strong, practical, well-finished structures.

Responsibilities
  • Weld and fabricate container conversions, including frames, reinforcements, and fit-outs
  • Work with sheet and box section steel, cutting, fitting, grinding, and finishing
  • Prepare and weld painted or previously used steel surfaces to safe and durable standards
  • Interpret basic drawings or supervisor instructions to complete projects accurately
  • Ensure structural integrity across a wide variety of bespoke build
Suitable backgrounds
  • Agricultural fabrication – trailers, tractor kit, gates, livestock equipment
  • Truck body building, skips, hook-lift bins, or heavy vehicle repair
  • Structural steelwork – frames, staircases, supports, mezzanines
  • Plant / machinery maintenance and repair – patching, strengthening, welding painted or worn steel
Qualifications
