Role Overview Of a Welder Fabricator

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Welder Fabricator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with MIG / MAG / Stick welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and handle heavy fabrication work. Experience with hardfacing welding is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities Of a Welder Fabricator

• Perform MIG, MAG, and Stick welding to high standards
• Carry out heavy fabrication tasks from technical engineering drawings
• Operate relevant machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Undertake hardfacing welding processes (preferred but not essential)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform quality checks on completed work
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  
  

Requirements Of a Welder Fabricator

• Proven experience in MIG, MAG, and Stick welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings
• Experience with heavy-duty fabrication
• Hardfacing experience is a significant bonus
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
