Job description

Welder / Fabricator (TIG/MIG) – NVQ level 3
Location: M62 corridor, West Yorkshire
Salary: £16.85 per hour plus overtime

We are one of the UK’s leading sheet metal companies seeking an experienced TIG / MIG welder with NVQ level 3 qualification in the sheet metal working and fabrication industry to join our team near Normanton (M62 corridor).

Responsibilities:

1. Perform TIG and MIG welding on light gauge materials, including stainless steel and aluminium.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
3. Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• NVQ level 3 in welding or fabrication.
• Proficient in all types of welding for light gauge materials.
• Experience with thin stainless steel; aluminium experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Work Schedule:

• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 38.75 hours/week.
• Option to consolidate into a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday, 7:00 – 5:15).
• Overtime available: Friday and Saturday at £25.28/hr, Sunday at £33.70/hr.
