Welder Fabricator – Rolling Stock Vehicles

Wolverton, Milton Keynes
£30,000 – £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Welder Fabricators to join our client’s team in Wolverton, Milton Keynes. This role is within the Corrosion Department working on rolling stock vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

*

Welding and fabricating metal components (MIG essential; TIG/Stick/Arc desirable).

*

Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

*

Cutting, shaping, and assembling to precise specifications.

*

Inspecting and repairing welds, ensuring quality and safety compliance.

*

Operating and maintaining welding equipment.

*

Working safely in line with health & safety regulations.

Requirements

*

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Welding/Fabrication (Certification desirable).

*

Proven welding/fabrication experience, ideally in heavy industry.

*

Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical drawings.

*

Must pass a medical and be comfortable working in varied environments.

AM shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (early finish Fridays)
