We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with metal. This role involves fabricating and assembling various components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the welding process. The successful applicant will be proficient in using both power and hand tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
Utilise basic maths skills to interpret blueprints and measurements accurately.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
Experience
Must have experience with Structural Steelwork
Proven experience in welding, particularly with stick welding methods.
Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
Experience using various power tools and hand tools relevant to metalworking.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.50-£18.50 per hour
