Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a specialist team on a bespoke project basis. This is a hands-on, varied role that goes beyond standard welding, ideal for someone with a technical mindset and engineering background.

This role sits outside of IR35 and offers a minimum three-month contract, with the potential for extension depending on project flow and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Welding of bespoke stainless steel structures (primarily 304, some 316)
• MIG and TIG welding to high standards
• Cutting, bending, and fabricating components
• Adding brackets and structural fittings
• Assembling pre-manufactured elements
• Interpreting drawings and technical specs to build custom projects

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Competence in working with 304 and 316 stainless steel
• Strong fabrication skills - cutting, bending, and general assembly
• Engineering or technically-minded background
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on bespoke builds
• Understanding of structural integrity and design practicality

Hourly rate:

• 20 - 28 an hour (dependant on experience)
