Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering firm.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will carry out MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals including mild and stainless steel.

You will be responsible for:

1. Working with cutting and forming equipment, as well as hand tools (full training provided).
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce custom fabrications.
3. Collaborating with the technical team to determine optimal manufacturing methods.
4. Contributing to process improvements and quality standards.

What we are looking for:

1. Experience as a Fabricator, Welder Fabricator, Welder, Welding Technician, TIG Welder, MIG Welder, or similar roles.
2. Experience welding and fabricating metal components (approximately 2mm-10mm thickness).
3. Skilled in TIG and/or MIG welding techniques.
4. Strong understanding of fabrication processes and ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings.
5. Ideally, 5 years' experience in MIG welding and 1 year in TIG welding.

Shifts:

1. Monday - Thursday: 08:00-17:00
2. Friday: 08:00-13:00
