Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Fairford for a Welder Fabricator. The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, cutting, welding, and fitting metal pieces to create components and structures, performing quality control checks on completed work, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, ensuring all fabrications meet exact specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding
• Experience in metal fabrication, cutting, and fitting
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a workshop environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding and fabrication is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial

Pay

Starting £17-19/hr depending on experience. 47.5hr minimum week, plenty of overtime if wanted.
