Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Welder Fabricator located in Stansted Mountfitchet with some work-from-home flexibility. The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and inspecting metal components, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Daily tasks involve reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, maintaining tools, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Experience with metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications in welding and metal fabrication
• Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industries is advantageous
