Job description

We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client's well-established and respected engineering manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves building a range of high-quality equipment for both UK and export clients.

Based in the production facility, this is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on varied projects using stainless steel and advanced welding techniques. Our client is a leader in their field and offer a supportive environment with great benefits and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities:
Welding and fabricating stainless steel components (1.0mm 12mm thickness)
Working with both TIG and Synergic MIG welding processes
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Fabrication using sheet-metal machinery and tools
Understanding tolerances and bend allowances
Working in the production facility or on-site as required
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, production, and inspection procedures
Maintaining standards in quality, hygiene, attendance, and discipline

Skills/Experience:
Experience in welding and fabrication, especially with stainless steel
Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Ability to use fabrication and sheet-metal machinery
Team player with good communication skills
City & Guilds qualifications in Welding and Fabrication or completed apprenticeship in an engineering environment (advantageous)

Salary: GBP18.00 Per Hour

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
