Job summary

AMLR Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Welder for a Temp-Perm position in High Peak. The role requires 3 years of MIG welding experience on mild and stainless steels, with the ability to read engineering drawings and operate workshop machinery.

You will work across a rotating weekly shift pattern, with access to free onsite parking. Offering £14.60-£16 per hour, this role is based in High Peak, Derbyshire, within an industrial environment manufacturing skips, containers and frames.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or City & Guilds desirable.
• Minimum 3 years welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG on mild and stainless steel.
• Read engineering drawings to ensure correct welds.
• Operate workshop machinery and maintain quality standards.

AMLR Engineering is working in partnership with a leading engineering company located in High Peak Derbyshire, that manufacture skips, containers, frames and stillages for the industrial markets.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Welder role:

• 3 years Mig Welding Experience, preferably within an Industrial environment
• Experience with 2mm - 20mm thickness metals
• Working with mild steel and stainless steel
• Able to Fillet weld, Butt weld and Overhead weld
• Conversant with Engineering drawings
• Able to use workshop machinery

Qualifications and Skills are required for the Welder role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable

Minimum 3 years welding experience
