Job summary

CareerMakers Recruitment is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a client in Bradford, BD3. You will read engineering drawings, measure, cut, bend and weld metals using MIG, TIG, ARC, or stick welding as required.

You will fabricate metal structures, operate grinders and cutting machines, and inspect welds for quality, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG/TIG/ARC welding.

• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and cutting machines.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated products for quality and accuracy.
• Repair or modify damaged metal components when necessary.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Skills:

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4:30pm
• Friday: 8am - 3:30pm
