Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Welder Fabricator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with MIG / MAG / Stick welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and handle heavy fabrication work. Experience with hardfacing weldingis highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities of a Welder Fabricator:

Perform MIG, MAG, and Stick welding to high standards

Carry out heavy fabrication tasks from technical engineering drawings

Operate relevant machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively

Undertake hardfacing welding processes (preferred but not essential)

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Perform quality checks on completed work

Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements of a Welder Fabricator:

Proven experience in MIG, MAG, and Stick welding

Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings

Experience with heavy-duty fabrication

Hardfacing experience is a significant bonus

Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work under minimal supervision
