Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Welder to contribute to the Ballymoney team.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Understand technical plans and have the skills required for working out measurements.
  • Inspect and test cuts and joins using precision measuring instruments.
  • Meet set targets whilst working on the production line.
  • Ensure the safe and controlled movement of production parts.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
Experience Level & Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and measuring tools, especially welding symbols.
  • Experience in reading basic 3D CAD drawings.
  • Basic understanding of fabrication and use of jigs.
  • Proficiency in MIG mild steel welding (preferably in heavy engineering).
  • Relevant experience or qualification to NVQ Level 2.
  • Knowledge of H&S procedures and responsibilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/heavy equipment environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • Drive for results, perseverance, and a 'Can do' attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate with others to meet deadlines and assess workload realistically.
