We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, and they have recently secured a large amount of work, leading to an extension of their workforce.

The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high-quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales.

– £240 weekly accommodation allowance (Day Shift)
– Additional accommodation allowance paid if work overtime.
– Accommodation allowance only available to contractors

Shifts:
* Day Shifts – Monday to Thursday, 6.30am to 4.30pm; Friday, 6.30am to 12.30pm

Pay Rates:

Days – £23.67 (increase at 12 weeks to £24.77)

PAYE

Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.

The weld test will include 135 Mag Welding Process.

All tests are carried out on 15mm thick plate in S355JR mild steel.

Please note: This position is subject to a Drugs & Alcohol test.
