Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Inspect and test completed welds for accuracy and strength.

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Welder to join a production team on the afternoon shift. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in producing high-quality, precision work. You’ll play a key role in helping us meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-core welding based on project requirements

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Set up welding equipment and ensure all safety procedures are followed

Carry out fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures

Inspect and test completed welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications & Skills:

2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards

Ability to work independently during the afternoon shift with minimal supervision

Competence with grinders, saws, torches, and other metalworking tools

Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials and components

Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, etc.) are an asset but not required
