Owen Payne Recruitmenthave a fantastic opportunity forMIG Weldersto join our client located in the Featherstone area of Wolverhampton, who are Market Leaders within the industry and proud to be specialists in producing parts for companies such as JCB and Caterpillar.

This will be working with yellow goods for the construction Industry.

This exciting position will be a 12-week temporary to permanent assignment for the right candidate!

Job Duties:

• MIG Welding yellow goods
• Understand work plans & visual aids
• Have high standards of work and a good eye for detail.
• A good understanding of Health & Safety in a factory / manufacturing environment
• Preventative Maintenance of equipment to a high standard
• Flexible to work in other areas of the business as required
• Welding medium to heavy gauge steel

The Successful Candidate:

• Previous MIG welding experience in a volume production environment (using jigs & fixtures)
• Create quality welds
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings / geometric tolerances (Advantageous)
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Hours of work:

• Rotating shift 6am-2pm (6-1pm on a Friday) / 2pm-10pm (1-8pm on a Friday)
• Perm 10-6am (8-3am on a Friday)

Pay rate:

• Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm: £14.81 per hour (£12.24 pay plus 17.5% shift allowance)
• Perm 10-6am: £16.76 per hour (£12.24 pay plus 33% shift allowance)
• Overtime rates
