Job description

A Welder / Fabricator / MIG Welder / Steel Welder is required for a manufacturing business in based in Newton Abbot, Devon. The Welder / Fabricator / MIG Welder / Steel Welder will be responsible for welding various materials, ensuring quality control, preparing materials for welding, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while adhering to health and safety standards. The successful Welder / Fabricator / MIG Welder / Steel Welder will be proficient in MIG Welding and have experience working with various materials, including stainless steel and aluminium and live within a commutable distance of the site in Newton Abbot.

Package:

£32,240 - £36,920 (OTE £42,000 to £48,000 - overtime)

Day Shift: 07:00 till 15:30

Welder / Fabricator / MIG Welder / Steel Welder Role:

• Fabrication and welding of steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
• Prepare and cut materials, including deburring, and marking.
• Inspect and ensure quality control for all completed jobs.
• Suggest process and machinery improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
