We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves the assembly and fabrication of metal components using various welding methods, primarily TIG welding, and requires proficiency in using both power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

-Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.

-Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

-Utilise sheet metal techniques for the production of parts and assemblies.

-Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete fabrication tasks.

-Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

-Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

-Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication challenges.

-Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.

Requirements

-Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a focus on TIG welding techniques.

-Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.

-Proficiency in working with sheet metal and assembling various components.

-Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools relevant to welding tasks.

-Basic math’s skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

-A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks undertaken.

-At least 2 years’ experience preferred.

Expected hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 – 55 per week (Overtime Available)
