The role involves reading engineering drawings and assembling steelwork while adhering to strict quality and safety standards. Job description

NRL are currently looking for Welders for a client in Teesside. This is for a long term ongoing contract.

Main Duties:

  • Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings;
  • Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings;
  • Maintaining material traceability during assembly;
  • Aligning and checking tolerances;
  • Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area;
  • Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures

Requirements

  • Welders must be Time Served and pass a 3G & 4G Flux Core Weld Test.


Pay Rate and Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £21.80 per hour + £2.95 Holiday Pay (Basic Dayshift)
  • £32.70 per hour Overtime 1 (Monday- Sat am)
  • £43.60 per hour Overtime 2 (Sat post 1st 4 hrs & Sunday)

Backshift

  • Monday – Friday, 07:00AM - 15:00PM


Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to complete BPSS screening at the company’s cost.
