Job summary

Allied Vehicles is seeking a Welder to join our Pre-Production department in Glasgow. You will manufacture and convert components for our specialist vehicles using MIG welding and fabrication techniques, contributing to high-quality, reliable products and supporting production flow.

Hours are Monday to Wednesday, 7am–6pm and Thursday 7am–5:30pm, four days a week. We offer a bonus, generous benefits including 27 days holiday, life assurance, company profit share, and on-site facilities, plus

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Welder to join our Pre-Production department.

You'll play a key role manufacturing and converting components for Allied Vehicles products by using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques.

Hours of work are Monday - Wednesday, 7am - 6pm and Thursday 7am - 5.30pm, working just 4 days per week! The salary is up to £15.76 per hour + bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed.
• Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation.
• Take all reasonable precautions to ensure all work is carried out in a manner to avoid damage to vehicles, equipment and company property.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Experience as a time served or qualified welder with M.I.G. experience.
• Previous experience of welding and fabrication of sheet metal.
• Familiarity with weld symbols.
